ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
A Life of Balance
Owner/operator Patti O'Hara is a Fitness Australia Registered Level III personal trainer and Pilates teacher with over 20 years experience. Over this time Patti has dedicated her training to corrective movement, better posture and mobility. She is a Rehab Trainer, Kinetic Link Trainer, MenoFitness trainer and has completed training in joint health and movement through Arthritis & Osteoporosis Tasmania and Effective Movement Analysis through the PT Academy. Patti's Pilates training started in 2008 with Chris and Marena Digby of Positive Action Pilates and has been ongoing. As a Fitness Australia Registered trainer it is a requirement to gain continuing education credits (CEC) so you can be assured Patti is continually up to date with the latest information.
Not a "one-size-fits-all" Pilates Reformer Class. The foundation of her studio is integration of mind and body while fusing classical and fitness techniques to gain physical strength and mental focus. Think of it as personal training with Pilates. The overall effect is better mobility, balance, core, strength, flexbility, coordination and lean muscle development. Reformer pilates is not just about stretching and rehabilitation. It is so much more! As Joseph Pilates once said, "the reformer just another piece of gym equipment, so let's get to work".
